These terms are the agreement between you and Popoto. The short version: we show you merchants, you tap through and shop as normal, and we share the commission we earn with you. Cashback depends on the merchant confirming your purchase, so it is never instant and never guaranteed.
By downloading or using the Popoto app you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. Popoto — announced during our waitlist under the name Carty — is operated by Team REmited Inc. ("Popoto", "we", "us"), a company incorporated in the Republic of Korea, business registration number 739-86-02890.
Our Privacy Policy forms part of these Terms.
Popoto is a cashback service. We are a member of affiliate programmes run by merchants and by affiliate networks. When you reach a merchant through a link in Popoto and make a qualifying purchase, that merchant pays a commission, and we pass a share of it back to you as cashback.
We are not the seller. We do not hold stock, set prices, take payment, ship anything, or handle returns. Your purchase contract is with the merchant, on the merchant's terms.
You must be at least 18 years old and resident in Singapore. Popoto is for personal, non-commercial use. One person, one account.
Popoto requires an account. You sign in with Google or Apple, and that account is what your cashback belongs to — change phones or reinstall the app, sign back in, and your balance and history are there. We never see your password.
Keep your sign-in secure. Anyone who can sign in as you can see your balance and ask for a withdrawal. One person, one account.
Closing your account. You can delete your account at any time from Account settings in the app, or by writing to us. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone, and cashback that has not been paid out is forfeited when you delete. If you have a confirmed balance you want, withdraw it first. What we delete and what we have to keep as an accounting record is set out on our account deletion page.
Cashback rates shown in the app are the rates the merchant offers at that moment. They change, sometimes without notice, and the rate that applies is the one in effect when you tap through.
Tracking is not ours to control, and it fails more often than anyone would like. Common causes:
Where a merchant does not pay us, we cannot pay you. We will help you chase a missing claim where we reasonably can, but the merchant's decision is final.
Merchant tap-throughs and cashback tracking are real. The balances you see are the cashback we have actually recorded against your account, in the states described in section 5 — Pending until the merchant's return window closes, then Confirmed.
Withdrawals are not open yet. Confirmed cashback stays in your account until we open payouts, which we will announce in the app. Section 7 sets out how that will work.
Withdrawals are not open yet. When they launch, a minimum balance will apply and you will need to give us the mobile number you have registered with your Singapore bank for PayNow, so we can send the payout to you. We may need to verify your identity before releasing funds, and we can only pay the person who earned the cashback.
Only Confirmed cashback can be withdrawn; pending amounts cannot. Confirmed cashback that stays unclaimed for 12 months after your last activity may be forfeited, and we will warn you by email before that happens. Cashback that has not been paid out is also forfeited if you delete your account (section 4).

If we reasonably believe an account is being used this way, we may withhold cashback, suspend it, or close it.
Merchant listings, logos, and offers belong to the merchants. Their appearance in Popoto is not an endorsement, and we do not warrant that a listing, price, or rate is accurate at the moment you see it. Disputes about an order — delivery, quality, refunds — are between you and the merchant.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service. Where a change materially affects you, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. We may update these Terms; continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the new version.
The app is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free, particularly during the test period.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost cashback caused by a merchant or affiliate network failing to track or confirm a transaction, or for anything arising from your dealings with a merchant. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Where we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to the confirmed cashback in your account at the time the claim arose.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction.
